JACKsBACK MEDIA was founded by Joseph, alongside his wife Michelle and close friend John. Based in Royston Cambridgeshire, the three share a strong passion for cinematography, photography, and visual storytelling, and are all proficient in cinematography, photography, and drone piloting, allowing them to capture cinematic content from a wide range of perspectives.
Each brings their own creative background to the work. Joseph has a strong focus on cinematography and visual storytelling, helping shape the overall creative direction of each project. Michelle has a background in social media and digital content, bringing an understanding of how visual storytelling connects and performs across modern platforms. John comes from a background in music and audio, contributing to the emotional depth and atmosphere that supports their visual work.
At the heart of JACKsBACK MEDIA is a personal story. The company was founded in memory of Joseph’s brother, Jack, whose creativity, spirit, and outlook on life continue to inspire every project. This connection gives the work a deeper sense of purpose, encouraging the team to approach each brand, campaign, and story with care, honesty, and intention.
Today, JACKsBACK MEDIA continues to grow with the same foundation it was built on: creativity, collaboration, and storytelling that puts meaning behind every frame.

Joseph Howard founded JacksBack Media in honour of his younger brother, Jack, who inspired both the name and the purpose behind the brand. Driven by a passion for cinematography, photography, and visual storytelling, Joseph built JacksBack Media with the aim of creating content that does more than simply look good. His focus is on crafting stories that make people feel something, build genuine connections, and leave a lasting impact through cinematic visuals and meaningful storytelling.
Outside of work, Joseph is a big fan of gaming and enjoys getting out on his Harley-Davidson with his wife whenever he can. Bringing creativity into both his work and personal life, he believes the best stories come from real experiences, real emotions, and real connections.

Michelle Howard
Cinematographer/Photographer
Michelle Howard is a cinematographer and photographer with a strong passion for creating content that connects with people and captures real moments. Alongside her creative work behind the camera, she also specialises in social media and content strategy, building an audience of over 100k followers across her own platforms through engaging and authentic content.
With a love for creativity, storytelling, and exploring new ideas, Michelle brings both visual and social media experience into everything she creates. Outside of work, she loves riding her Harley-Davidson with Joseph, creating content together, and chasing new adventures along the way. Her passion for capturing experiences and turning them into meaningful content plays a huge part in the personality and creativity behind JacksBack Media.

John Riris
Cinematographer/Drone Pilot
John is a cinematographer and drone pilot with a passion for creating powerful visuals and bringing stories to life through creative filmmaking. Alongside his work behind the camera, he also specialises in sound design, understanding how audio can shape emotion and completely transform the feel of a project.
With a background in working closely with communities and supporting young people, John brings a people focused approach into both his work and everyday life, always aiming to create a positive impact and give back where he can. Outside of filmmaking, he enjoys producing and creating music in his home studio, combining his creativity and technical skills to build sound that connects with people just as strongly as visuals do.
